Tulip mug
Tulip mug
Cozy vibes: This mug feels so satisfying in your hands. It feels like comfort, warmth, and Sunday mornings with nowhere to be. The scattered tulips, the soft dots and those tiny hidden hearts make it feel considered without being fussy, cheerful without being loud. It is the kind of mug you pick up and immediately feel a little more settled. Light a candle, fill this mug, and get cozy.
White stoneware with a wide, softly faceted body, hand-shaped so that the surface has a gentle ribbed quality, each panel slightly different from the last. The form sits low and round, generous enough to wrap both hands around comfortably. Scattered across the body are hand-painted tulips, each one painted individually with small green stems and leaves, the buds closed and upright in that particular way tulips have just before they open. Between them, tiny hand-painted wildflower clusters and fine dots. Small hand-painted hearts are tucked in here and there, easy to miss at first and lovely when you find them. The circular handle curls upward and finishes at the base with a sweet hand-formed knot, dotted to match the body. Available in two colorways, Dusky Violet with deep purple tulips and soft purple dots, and Wildflower Blue with cornflower blue tulips and blue-toned details. Each colorway has its own mood while sharing the same quietly joyful character. Designed to hold ~270 ml (9 oz) comfortably.
Each of our handmade ceramics are made by independent artists in small batches.
Handmade ceramics carry the marks of their making. Variations in color, texture, and form reflect the artist’s process. Each piece is shaped by hand, just once, and in its own way, making it uniquely yours.
About the artist: This product was made by Şeyma. From her home studio in Istanbul, Şeyma creates her unique ceramic pieces with her adorable fluffy cat Charlie by her side. She has a degree in Fine Arts Ceramics, and her work is rooted in a deep appreciation for both form and tradition. After completing her studies, she began creating ceramics by hand in her home studio, initially crafting pieces inspired by the cultural richness of her surroundings. Over time, her practice evolved into a distinctive style that blends functional forms with the delicate, time-honored patterns of traditional tile art. Her tulip motifs, in particular, have become a signature. Every piece she creates reflects a careful, unhurried process, shaped by hand and guided by an artist’s eye for balance, texture, and detail. The result is something both practical and expressive.
