Cozy vibes: This mug feels as good as it looks. Whether you cradle the base in your hands or slip your fingers through that generous handle, it feels just right. There is something autumnal about this piece. The sunflower, the warm browns, the earthy stripes. Even in the middle of another season it brings that golden, slowing-down feeling with it. The kind of afternoon where the light comes in amber and everything feels a little richer than usual. Fill it with something you love and let it remind you that ordinary mornings can be beautiful too.
White stoneware with a wide, low, softly faceted body, hand-shaped so that the form has a slight irregularity to it that makes it feel alive in your hands rather than manufactured. The body is painted in a warm, earthy palette of golden wheat and deep terracotta brown. On one side, a large sunflower takes up nearly the entire face of the mug, its petals painted in careful, confident strokes that radiate outward from a deeply textured brown center. Vertical stripes in warm terracotta run alongside it, and scattered across the opposite side, smaller hand-painted sunflowers appear, each one centered with a dark dot and painted with the same unhurried attention. The handle is the piece's most distinctive feature. A large round loop rises well above the rim, dotted in terracotta and finishing at the base in a small hand-formed curl. Designed to hold ~230 ml (8 oz) comfortably.

About the artist: This product was made by Şeyma. From her home studio in Istanbul, Şeyma creates her unique ceramic pieces with her adorable fluffy cat Charlie by her side. She has a degree in Fine Arts Ceramics, and her work is rooted in a deep appreciation for both form and tradition. After completing her studies, she began creating ceramics by hand in her home studio, initially crafting pieces inspired by the cultural richness of her surroundings. Over time, her practice evolved into a distinctive style that blends functional forms with the delicate, time-honored patterns of traditional tile art. Her tulip motifs, in particular, have become a signature. Every piece she creates reflects a careful, unhurried process, shaped by hand and guided by an artist’s eye for balance, texture, and detail. The result is something both practical and expressive.
