They’re forging a path to its capital, Oakheart Spiral, to talk peace and diplomacy with only the best of intentions. They also have the best of guides: Syl, a cloven-hooved, goat-headed healer, protector, and mediator, who knows the people and the land. And more importantly, he knows the dangers and the centuries of bad blood that lie between them and their destination.
