With the deadline of the winter solstice rapidly approaching, I have more to worry about than a spotty memory. Grandmother has put a lock on my magic, the very power I need to summon and anchor the portal to Elfame.

Good thing a fae king and his court are so willing to help me unlock it.

Ossian's Court of Beasts is a wonder unlike any I've ever seen: talking animals, blue fire, dozens of secret nooks and crannies within the castle, and one mysterious black door I'm never supposed to open. But it can be as dangerous as its namesake too: the Brotherhood with their strange tattoos, monsters in the woods terrorizing Redbud's citizens, our greatest enemy the Bear Prince chained to the wall in the great hall.

As the curse around my magic gradually lifts under Ossian's tutelage, something more terrifying than the grizzly bear makes itself known. I'm not a guest, but a prisoner. We all are. And the only way to free us is for me to become everything Violet destined me to be.
